Since its inception in 2003, The History Group has remained at the forefront of providing documentary evidence to assist aboriginal groups, law firms, governments and businesses achieve a wide-range of operational objectives. Above all, we are committed to leveraging the past to create a better future. We recognize that our success is dependent on fostering sound relationships with clients and colleagues and our dealings with each are based on reliability, integrity and trust.
Our team is dedicated to the following key purposes:
- We strive to make the past accessible to our clients through the creation of digital document collections. Digital document collections enable efficient information re-use which reduces research costs.
- We maintain objectivity across all of our research projects. We feel strongly that documents should speak for themselves.
- We create open lines of communication with client designates so that we can gain a reliable understanding of their objectives and assist them in achieving their goals.
- We are constantly engaged in learning and improving our knowledge of records available for research.
Our team is also committed to creating opportunities for students interested in careers in historical research. Through our Practicum Program, we strive to build strong relationships with post-secondary institutions so that students have a chance to challenge their research skills in a professional environment.
Finally, our team is committed to developing a large community of people who are interested in history. Through our social media tools, we remain in constant contact with anyone interested in exploring the role that history plays in our individual lives, local community, and global world.
